The deadline for voting in this years Gen Con EN World RPG Awards (the “ENnies”) is fast approaching. If you don’t know, the ENnies are awards celebrating of excellence in Role Playing Games given out at Gen Con each year. I wanted to make sure you all were aware of them and that the voting ends on July 29^th. There are many great games up for ENnies this year and they even have a best gaming podcast (if you don’t listen to podcasts , feel free to do me a favor and vote for the Sons of Kryos and/or Yog Radio. They are two of my favorites and both worthy of the prize.) Just go to http://www.ennieawards.com/index.html to vote or read up on the nominees. They have good description of most of them. If you don’t care who you vote for, or you want to help out the indie press gaming scene go to the Summer Revolution website and get the list of which indie games are in the running this year. (Spirit of the Century and its publisher Evil Hat Productions are up for a couple. Yes! Vote for them!) If you are not really interested in voting you can still just browse thru the nominees to find some new games to check out. Remember, voting ends on July 29th so get your votes in now.
