		<description>&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, you just missed the Lorwyn pre-release tourney last weekend, but some stores might still be doing sealed deck events over the next few weeks.  I, myself, missed the pre-release because of school obligations, but from what I&#039;ve read Lorwyn seems pretty cool if you like the idea of a lighter, less apocalyptic fantasy setting with various &quot;tribes&quot; of elves, giants, faeries, etc., slugging it out.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I totally agree that if you are your friends can impose limits on your local &quot;arms race&quot;, then there&#039;s still a LOT of fun to be had with casual magic.  It&#039;s a great idea to split a box of 36 packs, and then maybe open the packs in groups of five (simulating sealed deck) and gradually combining card pools and building 60 card decks, etc.&lt;/p&gt;
