I was at a loss when I heard of Carlin passing. Carlin was the first comedian I really made a habit of listening to. I guess we all knew it was happening sometime soon, he was getting on in years, but still his passing leaves me at a loss. I never knew of him having any severe health issues so I guess it was somewhat of a surprise really.

The world has lost a great comedian and a voice of sanity in this at times insane world. He was not only funny but groundbreaking, right up there with Lenny Bruce. He also presented through his humour a vision of reason. His takes on religion and the meaning of words being some of the most vivid in my head, as well as his Muhammad Ali skit.

Stan Winston has also died this past week. :(

I took a quick peak about but I really don't know where to find these. Were there any good ones with Terry Pratchett's character, DEATH?
